5 PVAF SCHOLARS AND THEIR FAMILIES
IN GUJRAAT

PVAF GUJRAAT EDUCATION PROGRAM (PVAF
GEP) of Prajaapati Vishva Aashram Foundation
(PVAF) has created STEPS
for 5 students and their families to realize their
GOALS of breaking out of generations of pain and suffering of poverty
simply because these families did not have EDUCATION.
Under PVAF GEP, students and
their parents are continually encouraged to tell PVAF how
PVAF CAN HELP EACH FAMILY
TO HELP ITSELF TO GET EDUCATION
FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY....
And at present PVAF is requesting all families in the villages
these 5 students come from to tell SRii
Hasmukh Mistry of PVAF about how each of the families and also other
families in their villages can be helped to GET
EDUCATED......
Starting the week November 24, 2003 till first week of January,
2003 SRii Hasmukh Mistry, who is
the young Vice-President of PVAF Operations Board, is visiting PVAF's 5
scholars and their families and also other students and their families who have
applied for scholarships from PVAF GUJRAAT EDUCATION
PROGRAM......
As a PVAF Board Member, SRii Hasmukhbhai is leading the
creation of PVAF GUJRAAT EDUCATION PROGRAM
mentored and guided by SRii Chandrakantbhai
Dahyabhai Lad of Calgary, Alberta, Canada,
SRii Dineshbhai Jagjivanbhai Mistry of Golden, British Columbia and
SRii Champaklal Dajibhai Mistry of
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. PVAF has invited SRii Hasmukhbhai to lead the
creation of the education program in gujraat because of the following reasons:
-
Hasmukhbhai was born in gujraat and grew up completed a
degree in computer science in the year 2000 from Gujarat University ;
-
Hasmukhbhai has known poverty first hand in his student
life in gujraat and also knows the needs of the youths in gujraat of present
generations who are in school;
-
Hasmukhbhai also knows first hand what parents in gujraat
face who have are suffering from the pains of poverty and what these parents
in gujraat wish in life for their children;
-
Hasmukhbhai also knows first hand what, how, when and why
of education, economics, employment and social systems of gujraat where
PVAF GUJRAAT EDUCATION PROGRAM is presently
operating; and
-
Hasmukhbhai has the fortunate first-hand experience of how
to use education to reduce the pain of poverty with his experience of seeking
help from others in the community in gujraat and emigrating to Alberta, Canada
and working at a good job in computer field in Alberta.
Hasmukhbhai has been given a mandate by PVAF on this
gujraat trip to do the following:
-
Meet the PVAF's 5 scholars and their
parents and find out from them how the entire family of each student can get
education which will get them good jobs in the present and future markets of
gujraat and outside gujraat;

Find out from the parents who are in
the late 30's and early 40's how they can educate themselves and get skills
training for them to get good jobs;
-
Meet those students who have applied
for scholarships from PVAF GUJRAAT EDUCATION PROGRAM but whose
applications are being processed;
-
Meet other students and their parents
from the villages of the 5 PVAF scholars to find out how all of them who need
help can be helped to get education from kindergarten to university levels.
