ved is the knowledge about
creation, sustenance and re-absorption of the created back into the creator
called brhmah. jyotish
is one of the six vedangaa, meaning
limbs of ved. jyotish contains knowledge of sciences
of astronomy, astrology and horoscopy and all the mathematics pertaining to all
these three sciences.

is embarking today on a new topic of knowledge called ASTRONOMY
-THE SCIENCE OF SPACE AND WHAT IS CONTAINED IN SPACE which is vital
for the existence of all living matters in this universe. Today is an auspicious
day to this new feature launch as today is the 5th anniversary of us humans
launching Cassini spacecraft by NASA to make our acquaintance with planet
Saturn....which is still about 2 years away from the space craft
which is traveling at 28,487 kph (17,701 mph) and is expected to reach planet
Saturn on July 1, 2004.....
....in ved planet Saturn called shani-grha
is feared by all living beings including devo (gods) for its ill-sight....which
creates small and great calamities in the lives of all creations...
