GUJARAT INTERNET INAUGURATION AT CHIKHLI ON FEBRUARY 3, 2001

Chikhli Prajapati Samaj will be connected to the world wide internet on Saturday, February 3, 2001 through the computer donation from the Gujarat Internet Program hosted by Prajapati Vishva Ashram.

The donation ceremony will be performed by our Prajapati elder Shree Dalpatbhai Chhanabhai Mistry and his wife Shrimati Jamanaben and will be attended by Shree Chandrakant Dahyabhai Lad who is the volunteer leader for the Gujarat Internet Program.

Shree Dalpatbhai is originally from Gandeva, Gujarat. He and his family immigrated to Nairobi, Kenya in 1944 and were then in Moshi, Tanzania, East Africa. He emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1976. He has 8 grandchildren from two sons and two daughters in Canada. Presently he and his wife are visiting India. Shree Dalpatbhai has been serving the samaj with the elder’s group in Toronto Prajapati Mandal for many years now. His son Chimanlal has donated one computer to the Gujarat Internet Program.

Shree Chandrakant Dahyabhai Lad, is originally from Lingad, Gujarat. For the last twenty-two years he is in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is visiting Gujarat till February 7, 2001 for setting up the Gujarat Internet Program. This is his third visit for the Gujarat Internet Program in the last 3 years. His selfless and very dedicated program leadership has enabled raising of funds for 21 computers so far for Gujarat Internet Program. Shree Chandrakantbhai is also actively involved in Shree Prajapati Mandal Of Western Canada since its inception in 1996. His wife Pravatiben and son Vineshbhai and daughter-in-law Pritiben are also active in samaj activities. His married daughter Nanitaben lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
