WORLD WEATHER INFORMATION SERVICE
The operational trial of Phase II of the World Meteorological Organization
pilot project on official weather information for cities of the world has
commenced.
The web site
http://www.worldweather.org/
presents OFFICIAL weather forecasts as well as climatological information for
selected cities supplied by National Meteorological Services (NMSs) worldwide.
Links to their web sites are also provided.
The web site will continue to grow and evolve. More WMO Members are expected to
join the project. The contents will also be enriched.
This WORLD WEATHER INFORMATION SERVICE is also placed in
LINKS on this PVAF web site.
